Ron Paul Continued Discussion
I am setting up this post as a location to transfer some off topic discussion that has ensued about Ron Paul as it relates to the war question which stemmed from the abortion question. I don’t have much to add here other than a link to the video that spawned this thread, posted by Jim here at the Helvidus, a Pachyderm site. Joe Biden Wants War (again)
So, Senator Joe Biden (D-Del) calls for the use of troops in Darfur here and doing so without checking with Jimmy Carter relative to what Jimmy calls a “pre-emptive war” here meaning that the security of the United States is not directly threatened. Illegal Immigration (France)
Well now that the pro Western and pro American Nicolas Sarkozy was elected President in France they have ruled out legalizing undocumented (illegal) immigrants in mass. This may be their last opportunity for saving their country from being overrun by the Islamists. This is something that maybe we should pay attention to here in this country. Is anyone smearing them by calling them racists for this decision? Who knows, with the way things are going I may have to lift my personal boycott of France soon. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves too quickly.

From the man that brought us the “real life” understanding of the Misery Index (as first articulated by economist Arthur Okun), Jimmy Carter has now declared that George Bush is the “worst President ever”…….whewww! Many of these dates are pre 1/20/2001 (inauguration of GW Bush). Additionally, many of the people on this list spoke equally as eloquent on the topic of the right to life of the unborn until they changed tunes as Presidential opportunities opened up. Today you only hear that fact discussed in the mainstream media about certain Republicans that made the same switch. Some of the most prosperous nations in the world (notwithstanding the resource endowed countries of the Middle East) are so not only because we were once at war with them, but because the U.S. won. They United States has a history of defeating countries and then re-building them and set up their government and economies (in some cases) then turning them free to grow and prosper, which they have. You may have watched the GOP debate the other night and heard the heated exchange between Rudy and Ron (well at least heated on Rudy’s part) concerning Mr. Paul’s emphasis on the point that the responsibility for 911 lies with US Foreign policy.
